Today’s chosen crossword had its moments.
First up, the unknowns: Iola, for the “neighbour on Mama’s Family”. Damned if I knew, but luckily there were enough across clues to hazard a guess. Also “TV Guide” as a weekly by Walter Annennberg. In the end, guessable, since it was a weekly and enough across clues appeared.
The rest were okay, “The Hutu” for “People of Burundi” not being a favourite answer because of the definite article. Linguistics gave me “Uralic” as the parent of the Finno-Ugric branch of languages. “Customized” had me looking for a verb ending in -ed, but it turned out to be “To order”.
